Weather:
Warmed by Pacific Ocean currents and protected by a range of mountains, Vancouver’s weather is mild year-round. From high 70’s Fahrenheit (low 20’s Celsius) in summer to a mild mid 40’s Fahrenheit (0º to 5º Celsius) in winter, the climate is always hospitable. Our winters are wet, but it rarely snows, except on our local ski hills. When it’s sunny, take a dip in the Kitsilano pool, join a game of beach volleyball, or rollerblade through Stanley Park Seawall. In the rain, peruse great works of fine art at the Vancouver Art Gallery, revel in retail bliss at Pacific Centre, and learn all about nature and science at Science World. No matter the weather, there’s always something to do in Vancouver!
