Set during a major city-wide event, The Chicago Reel welcomed 700 guests into a lively and immersive experience that paid tribute to the rich culture and flavors of the Windy City. This dynamic event hosted by a leading pharmaceutical company took attendees on a cinematic journey through Chicago’s most iconic neighborhoods.
The attendees of this event always visited Chicago but never got the chance to experience the city. Our client wanted to change that, and we were thrilled to make it happen. Since theattendees couldn’t make time to go see Chicago, we brought Chicago to them!
For this custom kick-off reception, we transformed a blank canvas into a city-inspired experience, complete with immersive decor, themed food stations, and an iconic clover-shaped bar inspired by Lincoln Park. From deep-dish pizza to Chinatown dim sum, every detail captured the essence of Chicago’s beloved neighborhoods.
The event challenged our team in all the best ways—custom AV setups, bespoke décor, and the design of original furniture pieces not found in any catalog. Collaborating with vendors and guiding the client through a vision that existed only in renderings required trust, creativity, and flexibility at every turn.
In the end, guests were transported and delighted, and they still talk about the experience years later. This project remains a favorite example of how we help our clients bring ambitious, unforgettable visions to life—right down to the last slice of deep-dish.
